Just a quick note to tell you that–technology willing–the League’s point man for emergency operations, Dennis Dura, K2DCD, will address EMCOMM U attendees at our event on March 14 in Stockton. Dennis joins OutpostPM developer Jim Oberhofer, KN6PE, as keynoters for the event. The technology-willing reference is that Dennis will be joining us over a video link via Skype or some other service. I am looking for a volunteer to help get this working and plugged into the video projector and sound system at our venue. (We also need for Dennis to be able to hear us so we can ask him questions).

Anyway, I am finishing up the program and will send another advisory later this week. If you haven’t registered for EMCOMM U, please do so today. We have about 45 people registered at present. Visit www.emcommu.org for more information. Or send questions directly to me.

NOTE: In order to mesh with K2DCD’s schedule, the start time for EMCOMM U is now 0800 local time.
